I am looking for a drawing tablet like the Wacon Intuos (size no smaller then 6x8). Anyone have any suggestions. I have looked around, but have found most of the prices are a bit high...I thought you guys might know of a place to get them more resonable or possible a different brand.

Do a search on ebay for "Medion Tablet" - I have one of the 9x12 ones, and i love it. plus they are super cheap. I've never had a problem with mine. Let me know how it turns out..

Glad that youve sorted it Paul.

Yes. you still need a PC, but the advantage to drawing directly is vast. Bit pricey at £1,700, but it would be just like drawing with pen and paper.
Hmm....Will it come about that the PC is in the tablet?
